God: Priority #1” to “Diversity in Women’s Friendships,”
“The Chosen Vessel and the Vessel of Mercy,” and “Assuming
the Praise Posture.”
Along with a writing partner, Ms. DeMaris has recently completed writing
a Bible Study called A Taste of Joy: A Sampling
of Spiritual Disciplines. She is currently working on her second
book based on her allegory and radio program Stones, Stumps and
Squatters.”
Ms. DeMaris considers it an honor and a privilege to minister God’s
word. Her passion, in line with the vision God has given her, is seeing
people healed, set free from the wounds of the past and unleashed
to be the unique individuals God created them to be. Ms. DeMaris knows
that God wants all of His children to experience the victorious, joy-filled,
contented life He promises to those who love, seek and serve Him.
The "Radiant Health" Name
Ms. DeMaris has seen dramatic changes as God creates a new reality
and a new life for her clients, especially those who were victims
of childhood sexual abuse. During study, God illuminated the Bible
passage found below. The passage expresses the process of recognizing
God, praising Him, seeking Him together (where two or more are gathered)
followed by personal supplication and finally the transformation from
dis-ease to wholeness. One of the meanings of the word radiant is
‘that which is marked by or expressive of joy, pleasure, love,
confidence or happiness.’ All of which could define the believer
whose life has been healed by our Heavenly Father.
Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.
I sought the Lord, and He answered me,
He delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with
shame.
Psalm 34:3-5
